College of Teacher Education Objectives
1. To expand the scope of curricular programs to better prepare pre-service teachers to become highly competitive;
2. To produce graduates equipped with pedagogical techniques, research capabilities, and teaching competencies that facilitate successful learning;
3. To support professional development initiatives that broaden professional expertise and teacher effectiveness
4. To provide a productive learning environment through access to a wide range of technologies, laboratories equipment and facilities and other learning resources.
5. To engage in research activities that foster poverty alleviation through linkages and collaborations.
6. To extend services that are tailored to meet the specific needs of the target communities; and
7. To integrate the different cultural activities into educational processes to develop the spirit of patriotism and unity among Filipinos of different origin.
BEED Program Objectives
1. To widen the scope of BEED curricular program to better equip the pre-service teachers with teaching competencies.
2. To provide trainings, research activities and other competencies associated with teacher effectiveness.
3. To provide professional development activities that will enhance students’ expertise in the field of teaching.
4. To provide opportunities for hands-on learning using an array of technologies, fully equipped laboratories and state-of-the-art facilities.
5. To engage students in varied activities that would inspire them to commit services to the community.
6. To provide activities for the development of the students’ appreciation of Philippine cultural heritage.
BSED Program Objectives
1. To broaden the scope of BSED curricular programs to enhance competency in teaching.
2. To produce scientific minded graduates equipped with teaching strategies and techniques to facilitate successful learning.
3. To provide professional and student development that will enhance their teaching expertise.
4. To provide wide range of technologies, laboratory equipment and other learning resources in order to improve the effectiveness of the teaching-learning process.
5. To engage in research activities to the needs and development of the community.
6. To integrate cultural programs in teaching learning processes.
